Chapter 284 Ultron 30K
Chapter 284 Ultron 30K
Chapter 284 Ultron 30K
One second ago, Joey was inside a stone pyramid on the seabed; the next second, he found himself in a sealed metal space.
The surrounding scenery could only be described as earth-shattering. After scanning the entire Earth once more, Joey finally knew that he had arrived at the right place.
This planet has undergone multiple rounds of mechanization both inside and out, and has been dead for a long time, but has been disguised as being in a state of near-death.
Such a feat could only have come from Loki, a god skilled in deception.
Just as Loki said, the so-called Scarlet Witch who maintains the survivor base undetected at the core of the magic circle does not exist, but there is a Green Wizard.
"You're the Superman who fought my brother outside Valhalla for so many years, right?"
Seeing the somewhat puzzled look in Joey's eyes, Loki burst into laughter:
"Don't doubt it, I am the one you're thinking of. We should have met once from afar when the Chitauri's planet was destroyed."
At that time, Loki's power was so great that he could conjure up an illusion that the planet Chitauri still existed, which led Thor and SilverAsh to fight over the fate of the long-extinct Chitauri.
Loki left a phantom clone on the ruins of Chitauri to watch this grand spectacle of heroes making things difficult for each other and good men beating each other up.
After realizing he had been tricked again, Saul immediately threatened that if he ever met his younger brother again, he would break his legs.
Joey had to admit that, even with his superhuman eyesight, it was indeed difficult for him to detect Loki's elaborate magical trick.
After all, even Thor is often fooled by Loki's little tricks, let alone his own vision.
However, Loki's appearance does explain how Ultron obtained the Mind Stone and why he used an energy spectrum identical to the Tesseract when he invaded Tony's universe.
Both of these items were stolen by Loki, Galactus's messenger, when Galactus visited Earth.
"Weren't you working for Galactus? Why are you serving this robot again?"
While life is inevitably full of ups and downs, Joey has to say that Loki's taste in choosing a boss is really low, always going for the cheapest options.
No matter how much Galactus eats, and even though he was forced to leave Earth by a rather random hero combination like Superman, Ultraman, Thor, SilverAsh, and Doomsday, he is still a physical god of the omnipotent universe concept level.
Following Galactus is much better than being Ultron's dog, isn't it?
When this comes up, Loki has a lot of grievances to pour out. Working for Galactus, aside from the incredibly powerful cosmic energy he receives, is almost entirely a disadvantage.
His hunger never tires, which means he can never rest. It is certainly interesting to lead the planet-devourer to destroy one planet after another that he doesn't like, but sooner or later he will get tired of it.
Therefore, running away with the bucket became Loki's only option.
As for how Loki was captured by Ultron, that's another story:
"Well, this story is quite something!"
Before he could finish speaking, Loki dodged Joey's grab with a flash, and as he landed in mid-air again, he elegantly smoothed his slightly messy hairline and taunted:
"You think this is my true form?"
Joey showed Loki the golden breastplate fragments and the dark green cloak attached to them: "What else?"
This was something he had just torn off Loki, who hadn't managed to completely dodge it.
Looking down, Loki realized that his chest was exposed and quickly conjured a new set of clothes. Just as he was about to say a few more harsh words, he raised his eyelids and saw Superman's huge hand in full view.
"Woolen cloth!"
Loki, whose throat was gripped by Joey's single hand, felt his breath catch in his throat. He swiftly drew a dagger imbued with magical power and thrust it towards Joey's waist—a move that had always worked against Thor. Unfortunately for Loki, Joey wasn't one to play games with him. With a flick of his remaining hand, he deflected both daggers away.
The other hand gripping Loki's throat tightened its grip even more:
"Tell me, what's going on here? Where's Ultron?! And where's the Tesseract you stole?!"
As Joey did all this, he felt a rather complicated feeling. Hugging Loki by the neck and Vision on the forehead, shouldn't these be the jobs that some purple sweet potato should be doing?
This damn sense of déjà vu really made him feel uneasy. Should he go and solo the Avengers next?
However, since things have come to this point, they still have to torture him, since Loki is not a kind person in most cases anyway.
Thinking this, Joey unconsciously increased the pressure on Loki's hands, shaking him vigorously as Loki, who was much smaller than himself, yelled, "Speak!"
Loki, who was being swayed like a bundle of green onions, had veins bulging on his forehead and was almost out of breath. Fortunately, he had a flash of inspiration and conjured up another clone, who then launched into a barrage of taunts at Joey:
"You don't actually think the one you grabbed is me, do you?!"
Unfortunately, Joey remained unmoved and gradually increased the pressure on his hands.
It seems there's some truth to the idea that playing with people with low intelligence can lower your own IQ; Loki has already used the same trick on Thor more than once.
Even if Loki's illusionary clone talked a good game, Joey wouldn't fall for such a stupid trick.
"Okay, okay, I was wrong. Let go first, I can't breathe!"
After struggling for a while longer, Loki realized that even the Frost Giants' physique couldn't withstand the Kryptonians' brute strength, and he had no choice but to give in for the time being.
"I'm Loki, the guy who answers every question—what do you want to know? Speak up before you strangle me!"
"The Cosmic Cube?"
The Tesseract contains the Space Stone. Although he doesn't know what it's for, Joey is still quite interested in these things.
Since we're just killing time anyway, we might as well collect them; they might come in handy someday.
"As you can see, I may have played a tiny role in his ability to reach our universe and others—Ultron took it from me."
"Ultron stole your Tesseract, and you still work for him?"
"As you can see, without the Cosmic Cube, where could I go?"
Loki's rebuttal was so reasonable and well-founded that Joey was convinced and, in turn, tightened his grip on Loki's neck.
Realizing that Joey was once again contemplating killing him, Loki struggled even more fiercely. To save his life, he immediately sold Ultron for good.
"Wait, wait, wait! I still have other things to say! Don't you want to know why Ant-Man turned into that grotesque shape? Or rather, where exactly is Ultron's core?"
"I'd really like to know, but more important than the answers to these questions..."
Joey was somewhat annoyed by the villain's constant questioning and answering, especially since this villain was Loki, whose nature was to do evil and who could lie instinctively. It seemed unlikely that anything good would come out of that dog's mouth.
I'd rather strangle you right now.
In most parallel universes, Ultron would stop after destroying all humanity on Earth in his own universe. However, due to Loki's intervention, the current Ultron has spread throughout the multiverse. Who should be held responsible for the blood debt inflicted on this?
"Of course I'm very happy that you're a superhero with a strong sense of justice, but—"
Loki, whose neck was being gripped, showed no signs of panic at this moment:
"It's almost time."
Boom!
The entire underground space cracked open, and a gigantic hand that blotted out the sky attacked from outside, slapping Joey, who was smaller than a mosquito in comparison, flying away.
The colossal Ultron, standing a thousand meters tall, extended its massive hand towards the experimental site, its crimson mechanical compound eyes confirming Joey's true identity. Its tone was filled with joy:
"Your early arrival really caught me off guard, Superman—but this should be enough."
He is no longer Ultron, but Ultron 30K, an infinitely iterated and evolved form.
